Massage therapy is often referred to as bodywork or somatic therapy. This refers to the application of various techniques to the muscular structure and soft tissues of the body that include applying fixed or movable pressure, holding, vibration, rocking, friction, kneading and compression using primarily the hands, along with other areas of the body, such as the forearms, or elbows. All of the techniques are used for the benefit of the musculoskeletal, circulatory-lymphatic, nervous, and other systems of the body. In fact, massage therapy positively influences the overall health and well-being of the patient.

Medical thermography is a safe, non-invasive imaging technology that uses a highly sensitive infrared camera to measure and map temperature patterns on the surface of the body. There is
no radiation, no compression, and no contact with the body.
Unlike structural imaging, thermography provides a physiological view of the body by documenting thermal patterns and changes associated with inflammation, circulation, vascular activity, and other areas of concern. This information can help patients and their healthcare providers better understand physiological changes occurring within the body and monitor those patterns over time.
Breast and full-body thermography screenings are available for
women, men, and children and may provide additional information relating to:
